An interesting association copy from the library of Winifred Henderson, an active associate and supporter of the Bloomsbury Group. Features her distinctive, original pictorial bookplate to the front paste-down, depicting a dragon, a lyre, and a musical score.

The volume shows noticeable shelf wear, with a distinct lean to the spine, sunning/fading to the cloth on the spine, and scuffing to the board edges and corners. Internally clean and bright with no personal owner inscriptions, signatures, or marginalia. A solid, historically significant copy with an excellent literary provenance.
