Very Good Condition.  Original maroon cloth, ruled and lettered on spine in gilt; in the original Barbara Jones dust-jacket – a design incorporating London landmarks and bomb-sites in black, viridian, pink and ochre on white – lightly worn and slightly tanned at spine. It is NOT price-clipped, showing the original '8s. 6d. net' price. There is chipping to the head and foot of the spine and corners (see photos). Bookseller's tape judiciously employed to strengthen where there is a close tear. Jacket is now protected by removable archival cover. Neat pencil inscription.
